Our dynamic Musical Director is Brian Newland and we have over 30 members at present. This is a very friendly band with good rehearsal rooms and instrument storage.
Last year we decided to go back into contesting after several years away from it.......we've still to decide whether or not we think this is a good idea!
We have refreshments in a short break and then several of us retire to
The Barge pub in Newark after our rehearsal to take part in the Quiz - our team name is Newark Town Bandits!
We have an excellent large library which is added to regularly, keeping us up to date with the more contemporary styles of music.
