Our dynamic Musical Director is Gary Wyatt and we have over 30 members at present. This is a very friendly band with good rehearsal rooms and instrument storage. We are a contesting band and have recently been promoted to section 3.
After rehearsal several of us retire to
The Barge pub in Newark after our rehearsal to take part in the Quiz - our team name is Newark Town Bandits!
We have an excellent large library which is added to regularly, keeping us up to date with the more contemporary styles of music.

Newark Town Training Band
Our Brilliant Training Band rehearse 6.00-7.00pm at the Bridge Community Centre, Lincoln Road, Newark.
After hearing that there were no Brass Band training bands in the area, we thought this is a perfect opportunity to get a training band started.
We are targeting children and adults of approximately Grade 2 standard ideally. There are vacancies for all brass and percussion - we can supply all of the percussion and a few brass instruments if you don’t have your own.
Musical Director with huge experience and DBS Clearance, Safeguarding Officer and dedicated committee.
